In 1968, on the basis of a thesis "Regge Poles and Sum Rules"
I received a D.Phil.degree and the B.A. matured to an M.A.degree.
My research supervisor was John Clayton Taylor FRS.
In 1984, on the basis of selected research papers, I was awarded a
D.Sc. degree conferred in the
Sheldonian Theatre.
Education in Oxford
I entered Oxford University
first as a Hulme Open Scholar
1962-65 of
Brasenose College (BNC).
In the first and second years, I lived in the college.
For the third year, I lived in BNC's Frewin Hall annex.
From 1965-68, as a graduate student, I lived out of college in
North Oxford, as a Senior Hulme Scholar with dining rights
at BNC high table.
In 2006, I attended a gaudy at BNC; some pictures are
here.
